Terms of Use

These terms apply to everyone who signs in to or uses Globalife360 as operated by Globalife Medical Laboratory & Polyclinic (“the Laboratory”): its staff, and patients and partner clinics who use the online portals. Globalife360 is software developed by Quinn Soft Solutions and licensed to the Laboratory. By using the system you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. Your account

• An account is for one person. Do not share it, and do not use someone else's.
• Keep your password and any sign-in codes secret. Tell the Laboratory's administrator at once if you think someone else knows them.
• You are responsible for what is done under your account. The system records who did what, and when.
• The Laboratory may suspend or close an account that is misused, no longer needed, or at risk.

2. Acceptable use

Use the system only for the work or purpose your account was given for. You must not:

• open, copy, print, photograph, export or disclose a patient's or client's information unless your work requires it;
• enter information you know to be false, or alter a record to hide what happened;
• try to get around the system's security, access levels, approvals or licence, or test it for weaknesses without written permission;
• upload harmful files, or use the system to harass, defraud or break the law;
• leave a signed-in screen unattended where others can use it.

3. Confidentiality of patient information

Health information is sensitive personal information under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). Staff must keep it confidential during and after their work with the Laboratory, and may use it only as the Privacy Notice and the Laboratory's policies allow. Unauthorised access or disclosure may lead to disciplinary action and to civil or criminal liability.

4. Results and professional responsibility

• The system helps staff record, check and release results; it does not replace the judgment of the medical technologists, pathologists and physicians responsible for them.
• A result is official only when it has been approved and released by the Laboratory. A copy marked preliminary is not valid for official use.
• A printed result can be checked against the Laboratory's records with the verification code printed on it.
• Warnings and suggestions shown by the system (for example on prescriptions or during result review) are aids. The professional using them decides.

5. Patient and partner-clinic portals

• Results shown online are for the patient they belong to, or for the clinic or company that requested them with the patient's authority.
• Results should be read together with a physician. The portal is not for emergencies; in an emergency go to the nearest hospital.
• Keep your portal password private. Tell the Laboratory if you see information that is not yours.

6. Availability

The Laboratory works to keep the system available and its data backed up, but it may be unavailable at times for maintenance, power or network problems, or reasons outside the Laboratory's control.

7. Ownership and licence

• Globalife360, including its design, code, screens and documentation, belongs to Quinn Soft Solutions and is protected by intellectual property laws. It is licensed to the Laboratory, not sold.
• You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or install the software elsewhere, or remove its notices, unless Quinn Soft Solutions has agreed in writing.
• The records entered in the system belong to the Laboratory and to the people they are about, not to Quinn Soft Solutions.
• Open-source components included in the product remain under their own licences (see About).

8. Disclaimers and limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, the system is provided “as is”. Quinn Soft Solutions and the Laboratory do not promise that it will be free of errors or interruptions, and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Philippine law, or the Laboratory's professional duties to its patients.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the system after a change means you accept it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
